Sixth Star's cruise line clients require us to send in photos and biographies of potential Distinguished Gents before approving them for cruise assignments. By sending Sixth Star a fabulous recent photo and biography, such as the samples seen below, you will be helping to assure yourself a great cruise down the road.

SAMPLE PHOTOS
Please send Sixth Star a recent "head and shoulders" photo of yourself taken in a tuxedo or business suit. We do not require a professionally taken photograph, and we are able to crop any photo, as long as your face is easily recognized. Please note: By sending us your photo, you agree to allow Sixth Star to send this image to our cruise line contacts or post your photo on our website. We prefer to receive photos via our website application form. Simply click on the browse button and attach a digital photo from your computer. Mr. Nat Sheppard, Jr.
Sixth Star Distinguished Gent since November 2004
Mr. Nat Sheppard was born and reared in Atlanta, Georgia and through a distinguished career as a journalist became the Maverick in his family. He has lived in and traveled extensively in sub-Saharan Africa and Central America and also has traveled and reported from Europe, China, Japan, Haiti, Jamaica and the Grenadines. Nat received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Morris Brown College, one of five institutions that made up the Atlanta University System, and studied journalism in programs at Columbia University and the Washington Journalism Center. He is a sort of renaissance man with keen interests in gardening and martial arts, collecting antique clocks and art, coaching youth soccer teams and, over the last seven years, has developed an abiding love of dance. Nat began with salsa and other Latin dances and has added International and American style ballroom, Argentine tango, west coast swing, hustle, nightclub 2 and country two step among others. He views dance as an excellent vehicle for another of his loves--meeting a wide range of people from many places. Shall we dance?
Mr. Conrad Lalonde
Sixth Star Distinguished Gent since September 2004
Mr. Lalonde was born in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada, of French Canadian parents and speaks English and French fluently, since childhood; He received his Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from University of Ottawa at age 20,then a Bachelor of Science Degree with a Major in mathematics from University of Montreal.Conrad enjoyed a fulfilling career of 31 years at IBM Canada, where the worked as Instructor, Programmer/Analyst, Manager, Project Leader, and Information Technology Specialist; IBM offered him the opportunity to travel to many parts of the world such as Holland, Taipei, Santiago, Mexico, California, and Curaçao.He is the proud father of 3 children (a lawyer, a teacher and a nurse), and 2 lovely grand-daughters. Conrad started dancing at 16 when he learned the swing and the cha-cha and danced every weekend through the glorious rock and roll era of the 50's. For the past 5 years, Conrad spends the Canadian winters in California where he stays 6 months of the year and has joined the very active dance scene around the San Francisco Bay area and has polished his ballroom dancing skills at the Starlite Ballroom and Cubberley Pavilion. Conrad currently makes his home in Victoria, BC. He is also very active in the ballroom dance scene in Victoria. He is very active with walking and hiking groups in Victoria as well as in the Monterey and San Francisco Bay area where he enjoys leading hikes.
Mr. Peter Cheah
Sixth Star Distinguished Gent since January 2007
Mr Peter Cheah was born and brought up in Penang, Malaysia. At 17, he went to Australia to undertake tertiary education, completing a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Melbourne. At a much later date he obtained two further degrees by part-time study, a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts, both from the Australian National University. For about 35 years after first graduating, Peter worked for the Australian Public Service in various research, administrative and secretariat capacities. In his final 10 working years he worked as a lawyer in the Attorney-General's Department drafting legislation. Peter has lived in Canberra, Australia's capital, for 41 years. Peter has 3 children, 2 sons and a daughter. His youngest son works in New York. Peter's interests are travel, dancing, collecting post cards, photography and listening to music. With his late wife, he has already been to many destinations around the world. However, there are so many other places yet to see, he says, and cruising is such a nice way to do it.
